Well I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Things are about to start changing this year as I get stuff organized for 2009. Hopefully in March I’ll be able to debut the brand new website for Hudson Photography!
Here’s the rest of Crystal and Jenny’s awesomeness. I had a great time with these two, they definitely can pull off a sister modeling gig for some special article in glamour for sure. :0)

Keep an eye out later this week for Emily’s senior session!

I hope everyone has a crazy joyous holiday! Please make sure to give all your loved ones a good long hug and tell them you love them, life is way too short to wish you had spent more time with them after they’re already gone. Don’t forget your special pet at home over the holidays, they love you too!
Have a Merry Christmas, from Matt, Crystal, and Hua-Hua!

This isn’t the first time that Crystal and Jenny have graced themselves in front of my camera, the last time was way back in 2006, and were some of my very first clients. Needless to say I was excited when Crystal had asked if I wanted to take some more pictures of the two of them again. Obviously from then until now my pictures have changed a great deal, so I’m estatic that I’m giving them a much more updated look. :0)
I decided to do another art print for the first preview this time. When things start slowing down I have a little more time to put into these so I always enjoy doing them over some of my regular editing. I don’t do them all that often but just enough to make them special out of the bunch.

What do you guys think? Do they look like sisters? A lot of people compare me and my brother the same way and personally I think we look completely different, but nobody else sees it that way. :0)
Full post coming soon like usual! I actually meant to post this last week but it got a little crazy around here with the holidays coming up. :0) Still working stong until we close on the 23rd! As a reminder all print orders for clients to receive BEFORE Christmas are now closed. If you make any orders after the 15th they won’t arrive until the first week of January.
Stay tuned for some more updates!

Wow today’s weather was definitely crazy, but I think we used the insane wind we had to our advantages. Emily requested that we shoot in West Monroe’s antique alley for her session and I was happy to get out of the usual stomping grounds and try some new locals. Emily was definitely fun to shoot and I’m starting to introduce something new in my sessions you’ll probably see more frequently, the more I find, the more you’ll see. :0)
Check out the sneak peek below. I Decided to do another art print for this one. Speaking of art prints, for 2009 we’ll be offering Fine Art Paper in limited sizes for the 2009 season. Fine Art paper will be perfect for these particular prints, and I’ve always meant for them to be printed big, so I’m extremely excited to offer them. I’ll have some samples to show on the blog in the following months. I hope to have pictures of everything we offer in the new clients>products section of the blog by the end of 2009.
Another preview post tomorrow from the sister session I took the other day, then sometime on the Christmas break you’ll be able to see some full blog posts of weddings and other previews I never got around to because of time.
