This was definitely a fun shoot, Cody was awesome about letting me mess around with lighting and go to some pretty obscure locations for this one. We even got to drag out his piano for this one. It’s always funny when someone goes on a shoot and says “this is weird…I’m in a field playing a piano” that’s definitely a situation you might end up in here. :0) We’re pretty crazy about our senior sessions. Between me battling fire ants, the muddy weather over the last weekend and the crazy climbing to the top of some of those concrete mounds I’d say the pictures speak for themselves.
Cody shoots for his high school yearbook and I definitely wanted to get some of that personality in there. I brought along one of my old skool 35mm bodies. A Minolta SRT-101 with a 50mm attached. I got a ton of lenses for it, I really need to shoot with it more. The vintage feel is something new in our processing, I hope you like it!
